Introduction

The Owls held their first Presentation Night on the 16th February 2007. It was the first time that the club had held such an event and it is hoped that it will become an annual event

Trophies and a Shield were presented in three categories - Angling, Basketball and Table Tennis. The awards are called the "Achiever Awards". Members of each section voted for the person who they thought may have contributed the most to that section over the past year, whether from a sporting context or not.

The Harrison Family in memory of the Chairman's Wife Sue donated the Angling Section in her name. Sue was a keen member of the club and took great delight in beating her husband regularly in club matches.

The Basketball Section Shield was named after Eddie Wolstencroft who along with his late departed wife Lillian were great supporters of the club for many years.

The Table Tennis Section trophy was named in honour of another great supporter of the club, Leslie Grahame Kelly.
